The Indians have selected Lonnie Chisenhall a 3B/SS from Pitt. Community College (N.C) with their 29th Overall Pick.

ESPN Said: 74th Overall Prospect from Baseball America, Character Issues in the past could turn into a very good hitter.

MILB Draft Profile

Profile: From what is said, he has a character issue, but he has a great bat. He can play third base or shortstop and even maybe right field.

This was obviously a reach, but one that the Tribe feel good about. He has talent, and if the character issues are nothing to be worried about, then it could be a great selection.

He did some closing, so we know he has a good arm for right or third base.

A 12th round pick of the Pirates coming out of High School, went to SC, got kicked off after he and a teammate were charged with burglary and grand larceny.

Opinion: His bat is super good from what I've read. I like the pick, we can afford to make one like this. Especially at a position like third base.
