Minor League Update: Aubrey to DL; Captains Clinch

Michael Aubrey was placed on the DL for the Bisons, Michael Valdez took his place on the roster. Aubrey was hitting .313 in his 17 games.

The Akron Aeros 10 game win streak finally ended yesterday. They lost 11-2, but their surge has put them one game behind Bowie for the lead in the Southern Division.

The Lake County Captains clinched their first playoff birth since 2003 when Fausto Carmona lead the team to a title. The Captains won the first half, and will look to dominate the second. Get your playoff tickets Captains fans!

As noted, Lonnie Chisenhall will be sent to Mahoning Valley to start his career with the Tribe. Their season starts tomorrow against Williamsport! I will make it a point to go see some Scrappers games this year and check out Chisenhall.
