I saw a T-Shirt last week on sale in the souvenir stands.
HO-LEE-COW!
Aboslutely.
Cliff Lee's complete game lead the Tribe to a 6-2 win and a series victory, and their 6th win in the last 7 games.
Lee went all nine, giving up 11 hits, no walks of course, four punch-outs and two runs.
I wasn't around to catch the game, but it looks like a typical Lee-Outing.
Hey Kelly Shoppach had his big game for the two weeks. It seems like he's always popping up and winning a game for us with his bat. Today he had the three run jack and another single to give him four RBI on the day.
Blake knocked in the other one.
Choo and Cabrera both got hits and scored runs against their former teams. Both had a decent series against the Mariners, so it was nice to get back at the organization that traded them away for a couple of let-downs.
Some fun times with all the winning wouldn't you say? No break either, it's right to LA for a series with Anaheim. Luckily we avoid Joe Saunders but we still got two of the big three. Tomorrow it's Ervin Santana and Paul Byrd.
I'd say we'd be in trouble, but Ervin Santana has a lot of trouble with us no matter what year it is. Hopefully that is the case again, cause we'll need it.
