Jeff Stevens blew his second save with Buffalo, oops.

Trevor Crowe who has been as hot as anyone in Double A has been named the EL Player of the Week for the second straight week now. Crowe went 13 for 28 with two home runs and ten RBI.

He wasn't in the lineup last nigh, but Akron kept on rolling, defeating Erie 6-5. Wyatt Toregas might be getting himself on track with four RBI night, including a 2 run home run.

Starting pitcher Carlton Smith and reliever Dan Cevette got an absolute trashing at the hands of Potomic last night. The Kinston duo combined for 3.2 innings of work, 15 hits, 17 runs(15 earned), and five home runs. Yuuuuuuuuuk

Lucas Montero knocked in three runs, the only three possible runs to knock in against Delmarva. He also scored two runs and hit two jacks for the Captains last night.

Chisenhall Update: Lonnie's been struggling as of late, but last night he was DHing and he went 3-5 with two doubles and an RBI.

Oh, the Indians signed their 8th round pick Eric Berger .

Also Tony Lastoria gives you a little insight into the temporary GCL Indians and how the GCL games are opperated.
