Believe In Now... BELIEVE! DAMNIT!!!!

Series Snapshot: Detroit Tigers - April 29th-May 1st

The Detroit Tigers come into Cleveland for the first time this year. Cleveland currently leads the Tigers by 4.5 games in the AL Central and are riding a 10-game home win streak. Can the Tigers disrupt the red-hot Tribe?

Ready or Not, White Comes to Win

I'm making it a rather quick update.. I forgot series snapshot for the Royals, but it will be back for the Tigers this afternoon. I'm taking in the epic Jeanmar Gomez, Max Scherzer contest tonight from Progressive Field. Let's make it 11-straight.

Minor Issues: McAllister, Chisenhall lead Clips to 8th Straight

Minor Issues: Phelps, Barnes lead Clips to 7th, Greenwell helps earn K-Tribe split

Cord Phelps and Bo Greenwell ladies and gentlemen....

Write In Hannahan, Vote Pronk, Go Tribe

Sometimes I have days where I struggle writing a quick intro that is somewhat related to what this blog is about. Sometimes I just ignore the norms and tell you about my life. This is neither of those days. There are people being loud in the library, I want to punch them. Always carry headphones.

Minor Issues: Putnam, Hagadone Continue Excellent Relief

A pair of back-end guys are lighting it up so far. The Clippers continue to win, Jason Smit continues to hit, and Akron splits a double-header.

Go Back Jack: Hannahan and Homers Lead Masterson to 5-0

Back on track ladies and germs, love us some home cooking. The Indians returned to Progressive Field against the team they just played last week and picked up a crucial series opening W.

I just have one thing to say after the two games played yesterday. IT'S T HOLT BABY!

Easter Error: Blunder Ruins Rebound Win, End Road Trip 2-4

Carlos Carrasco left early, the Indians came back, Pavano settled down, the Twins came back too, and then their bullpen shut it down. That was the game in which marked the Tribe's first three-game losing streak this season.

Falling Off: Twins Explode for Biggest Output of the Year

Uh oh, the wheels are starting to come off the bandwagon. Settle down faithful, they'll right the ship... After a washout on Friday, the Indians dropped the first game to Minnesota, 10-3. Skipping Jeanmar Gomez didn't turn out to be helpful after all.

Minor Issues: Captains Play Derby, Aguilar Goes Off

Not Always Perfect: First Blemish for Perez and Pen

I'm so blah about last night's loss.. It hasn't even hit me that they ruined Josh Tomlin's 4-0 record...

Minor Issues: Columbus 9, Louisville 3, Huffman 10

Holy Cow Columbus! HOLY COW HUFFMAN!

Back to Winning: Hochevar Perfectly Ripe Late

Justin Masterson was wild early, but he settled in, the offense found a way to get to Luke Hochevar and the winning has returned! Plus Santana ain't moving and Durbin joining the bullpen party.

Minor Issues: White Continues Hot Start

Lake County split a double header, Akron lost, but Columbus and Kinston picked up wins. Alex White on fire for Columbus and Marty Popham was perfect.

Fight Until the End: Late Rally Comes Up Short in Loss to KC

The Indians couldn't solve undefeated nemesis Bruce Chen... Wait what? I'm sure people feel the same way about 3-0 Josh Tomlin. Anyway, the Indians couldn't solve Chen and their rally against the Royals Bullpen fell short.

A quick recap of the past half week of Minor League action. The Clippers are rolling strong, Akron is struggling to find offense, and Kinston and Lake County drop a couple of series.

Minor Issues: Captains No-Hitter!

No Hitter! The Lake County Captains have thrown the first no-hitter of the season. A combined effort, but a no-hitter none-the-less.

Series Snapshot: Los Angeles Angels - April 11th-13th

After a sweep of Boston, it's time for the first roadtrip of the year and it is one of those good old West Coat swings. It begins in Seattle where the Indians have a anticipated showdown with their old skipper, Eric Wedge.

Really...What the heck IS this?

These night games always throw off your routine. Thankfully that Seattle series wasn't bad with the weekend and everything. This series against the Angels is where the fun begins though. It always seems like we have these early week series against LA.

Minor Issues: Just Call Me Cord

Columbus completed a sweep on Sunday while the Captains and Aeros ended up splitting their four game sets over the weekend.

Mine All Mine: Second Sweep Leads to First Place

Cleveland wraps up yet another sweep by downing Seattle to run their win streak up to seven. Asdrubal Cabrera continues to provide the fire and Josh Tomlin and Justin Masterson both improve to 2-0. The Indians now claim first place in the AL Central all to themselves.

Sweeeeeep: Carmona and Pen Shutout Sox

People keep saying, and I may have even said it at some point... But they say... "Let's not get too excited." You know what I say, screw it.. Let's get excited...

Slow Pitch or Pitching Slow: Homers and the Bullpen Claim Series Early

I got excited yesterday and said the Indians were above .500 at 2-2.. Well now, I'm saying it and it's true. The Indians are above .500! It's only one game? Screw it, this is cause for celebration.

Cunning like a Lizard and... He looks like Rango

Inside, I've named this year's Minor League Mascot. I know you've been dying to know who it is. With the minor league season starting tomorrow, I thought it was as good time as any to do so. We also talk about Josh Tomlin, but really, who cares about him?

The Better Josh Won: Indians drop Red Sox to 0-4

I've Been Saving 'Em Up For When They Count

Despite the ugly 15 put up yesterday, it only counted for one in the loss column. Today is a new day and thankfully, not April Fools anymore. Let's see if the pitching was just joking about yesterday. Hopefully the hitting wasn't.
